This lovely 6oz King & Sons hamilton was picked up for a few pounds on ebay

A rare 10oz Haiarn Dwr hamilton
In addition to these two hamiltons we also have a 10oz Harrington Scrase hamilton in our collection.

Yet another rare Haiarn Dwr bottle. Derek Askey mentions an even rarer amber version in his 'Sussex Bottle Collectors Guide'.

A rare Alfred P. Scrase bullet stopper from the Rink Factory in Horsham. The Rink Factory was in Queen Street from 1885 - 91.

Scrase 10oz and 6oz codds

A rare Scrase codd.

A scarce King & Sons four-indent codd dug in Horsham Park.
One of Horsham's rarest and most collectible bottles is the amber Haiarn Dwr 10oz codd. To see a photo of this gem click here
Hard-shouldered cylinders

James Flint (1855 - 66)
This is probably the oldest Horsham bottle in our collection and was purchased at the recent Alton bottle show. Note the early chisel lip.
Alfred Flint (1866 - 81)
Champagne shape

This attractive Harrington Scrase & Co mineral water bottle was found beside the London - Brighton railway at Burgess Hill. Perhaps it was discarded from a train by a day tripper? Interestingly there was a Harrington Scrase depot in Church Road, Burgess Hill.
Beer bottles
King & Sons (1893 - 1906)

George H Barnes or King & Barnes?

A green glass beer bottle embossed H Michell Exors, Horsham. It is also embossed with the old town hall in Horsham.

Although the word 'Horsham' is missing, it is likely that these bottles were used by Henry Marygold (1913 - 23).
Other Horsham bottles

These bottles embossed HM's SUBS are something of a mystery though I am reliably informed that they are often found in the Horsham area. Could the HM stand for Henry Marygold and what is the significance of the word SUBS? If anyone has any further information please could they let us know.
